Prof. Mohammad Johari Ibahim

Mohammad Johari Ibahim is a Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has served in this department since 2007. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying the development of cancer resistance. He has developed expertise in in-vitro and in-vivo cancer models to study radioresistance events. Johari secured multiple research grants including FRGS and internal university funding. He published over 40 manuscripts in his research area and supervised postgraduate students (PhD and MSc). He is an ambassador for the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) from 2017 - 2025.
